As much as we would love to take a trip over to Florida to meet you all and speak face to face, it may prove slightly expensive! I would like to firstly thank you for joining us with this link and look forward to getting to know more about you, your school, your area, lifestyle and more.
I hope you will leave comments on this post asking questions of our children here at Fordham that they can reply to and for you to answer some of the questions set from our children also about what they would like to know about America and your school etc.

ReplyDeleteHello Alex. My name is Hunter. Disneyland is in California and is about 2,500 miles (I am not sure how far this is in km). We are very close to Disney World though. It is about 20 minutes away. There are four main parks in Disney World: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. There are also many hotels, shops and water parks there too. Do you have any big amusement parks where you live?

ReplyDeleteHey Charlie, we do wear uniforms. Wear wear khaki or blue shorts. We also wear a white, blue, or a light blue shirt. We have to wear are shirts tucked in with a belt. Once a month, we have a casual day to wear whatever we want. What color are your uniforms?

Hi Ethan. What would you like to know about our state? There are so many things to share with you. Our school is a Kindergarten (5 year olds) through Twelfth grade school. We have two separate campuses. K-6th grade is on my campus and then 7-12 grade is on the other campus. What about your school? My favorite is Bible. I love learning about God and Jesus. ReplyDeleteHi Thomas. My name is Julia and I play volleyball. We love all kinds of sports here. We have a football team (American football), a soccer team, a baseball team, a softball team for girls, a track team, a basketball team and my teacher is crazy for hockey.

We have a President because our founding fathers (a bunch of guys that wrote the Declaration of Independence) decided they did not want a king. This way people had more of a say on how things were done. You have a Queen and a Prime Minister, correct? Our President is like your Prime Minister.
